Description

Delivery of our crated firewood is carried out by a 3rd party delivery company.
Free delivery will be carried out monday to friday 8am to 6pm.
If you require a timed delivery, this will be at an extra cost, please call our office to discuss your requirements.

Delivery Notice: This is a large item and delivery of crates is made by a third party pallet network on a heavy goods vehicle with a tail lift. It is important that you have proper access for a large sized vehicle and that you have a relatively flat surface for delivery (no gravel, cobbles, steep gradients, kerbs or large lips or edges). If you are unsure, we would recommend that order nets as these are delivered by our company and we can accommodate almost any delivery situation. If you have any questions, please call the office and we will advise.

Stocking up early for winter

Most years we wait until the last minute to buy the wood for our log burner but always regret it as the garden is damp and it turns into a mud fest moving the logs from the street into the log store in the garden. Not this year.

I ordered a full crate of Ash this time on the recommendation of Jordan. The delivery slot was within a few days and at a really convenient time. When the delivery arrived the driver was really friendly and we had a good chat while we unloaded all the wood, it makes a real difference when people are nice like this.

Overall we’re delighted with the quality of the wood, the price and the service we received from Bristol Firewood and would totally recommend them to others.

Good quality wood poor communication

We have ordered wood a few times over the years. Most of the time we have been very happy with the wood and the one time we had a problem with the quality it was very quickly dealt with. Our last order however didn’t arrive on the scheduled date and I wasn't told that the wood was not actually in stock. Had to wait three weeks for the next delivery with no update communication, it was left to me to keep phoning up to find out when we could expect the delivery to arrive.

Ash firewood

The firewood is great, burns cleanly. We have had a crate three or four times - there can be some difficulty with delivery due to the instability of the crates - very tall and extremely heavy.
The price has gone up dramatically, we didn't get any last year because of the price hike. I'm not sure if it is financially worth it - haven't tried to work it out.

Great Service

Great service and wood is very dry and burns lovely
